REAF’s founders, the late Barbara Richmond and Peggy Ermet, envisioned a world without AIDS when they created this agency. REAF’s focus has always been, and continues to be, to support AIDS services until there is a cure. With recent advancements in HIV treatments and promising research for a cure however, REAF has now expanded our focus areas of what we support and capitalize on our 22 year history of successful fundraising through quality entertainment events. The two areas that we feel we can have the greatest impact on at a local level are programs that provide food for the needy and programs that support homeless and disenfranchised youth.
Beneficiaries for our 2016 events to date include Meals On Wheels of San Francisco, AIDS Legal Referral Panel, Larkin Street Youth Services, Asian & Pacific Island Wellness Center and Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS.
Corporate Sponsorship help underwrite the cost of producing our events and help ensure that 100% of ticket sales and other event revenue continue to go directly to the beneficiary agencies of those events. Sponsors receive a wide range of benefits including tickets to benefit concerts for employees or clients, complimentary ads in gala programs, logo display in programs, invitations, email promotions and on our website and other benefits as detailed in the enclosed proposal.
All REAF events feature live and/or silent auctions to help offset the costs of productions and increase revenue to our beneficiary partners. Donors to our auctions receive recognition on our event website as well as onsite in the auction and in the auction handout at the gala. Live auction donations are also promoted from the stage during the auction as well as special promotions through social media. To make a donation to one of our live or silent auction packages, email us at firstname.lastname@example.org or click the link below to download a donation form.
