The Richmond/Ermet Aid Foundation (REAF) is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization that raises funds for local community organizations through the production of quality entertainment events. Proceeds from these events are given as grants to selected beneficiaries in the community. Areas of focus include HIV/AIDS services, hunger programs, and programs for homeless and disenfranchised youth and seniors.
REAF’s fundraising events featuring many stars from the Broadway stage, film, television, and the recording industry. Events include a flagship concert and gala titled Help is on the Way; a similar holiday-themed concert titled Help is on the Way for the Holidays; an ongoing One Night Only benefit cabaret series of performances featuring the casts of touring Broadway Shows; and Broadway Bares: San Francisco Strips, a burlesque-style strip show in partnership with Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS.
REAF is proud to have provided more than $4 million in funding to support local non-profit agencies since its inception, and that 100% of the proceeds from ticket sales have always gone directly to its beneficiary agencies.

All REAF events feature live and/or silent auctions to help offset the costs of productions and increase revenue to our beneficiary partners. Donors to our auctions receive recognition on our event website as well as onsite in the auction and in the auction handout at the gala. Live auction donations are also promoted from the stage during the auction as well as special promotions through social media. To make a donation to one of our live or silent auction packages, email us at auctions@richmondermet.org or click the link below to download a donation form.

REAF's exceptional entertainment fosters genuine community engagement, uniting philanthropists with local nonprofits. For Cathedral City Senior Center, REAF's support has benefited numerous Spanish-speaking families with grandparents, providing essential social services and weekly Food Bank groceries. REAF's presence attracts more resources, volunteers, and attention to our local agencies doing outstanding work. Thank you, REAF, for being a game-changer in the valley. #CommunityChampions #HeartfeltThanks

The support from REAF has been so greatly appreciated and it also has made great impact. The mental health needs of Oak Grove Sanctuary Clients are such that they require ongoing therapy. Funds from REAF helped provide hours from a psychologist that specializes in treating the LGBTQ+ population. We so appreciate the opportunities provided through the generosity of the supporters that attended the REAF party benefiting Sanctuary PS. I highly recommend this group to others and look forward to working with them again. They are superb event planners and in addition to organizational skills and talent have hearts full of compassion. Their tremendous support helped put on a great party that was a lot of fun for guests but also made a big impact on our mission. THANK YOU!!

The Bent, Palm Springs' only LGBTQ+ theater, was just a few months old and surviving on sweat and hope when REAF selected us to be the beneficiary of one of their fabulous fundraising parties. The support we received from that event put us on solid financial ground for the first time and gave us the means to purchase rights to a whole season of plays. We are forever grateful!
— Terry Ray, The Bent Theater Group
The Richmond/Ermet Aid Foundation, for which I have volunteered for parties several times, is so amazing. Founded in 1994, they help all kinds of people with medical, dental, mental and practical needs as well as hunger and homelessness in our community. I never expected they would help me. A huge thanks to Joe Seiler and Ken Henderson for coming-up to me at Oscar's one day and offering to help. There are so many good people here, so many dear friends. I hope I have the chance one day to make a donation back to REAF double in size what was given to me.
