For the past 26 years, Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS has been producing Broadway Bares in New York city. What began with Broadway dancers, Jerry Mitchell and a few friends putting on a strip show in local gay bar to raise funds for Broadway Cares, Broadway Bares has grown to one of New York’s biggest and most anticipated benefit shows raising well over $1 million over two shows on one night and featuring well over 100 dancers and singers all willing to take it all off for a good cause.

Broadway Bares SF was first produced in 2016 at Club Fugazi in a collaboration between REAF and Broadway Cares in New York City. Broadway Bares: Tech Tails gave the audience a cheeky look at social media apps – Broadway Bares is tongue-in-cheek sexy fun.

Broadway Bares II: ManuSTRIPT will take the audience on a journey based on famous literary tales – all ending in a unique, sexy strip with featured strippers and provocative backup dancers. At the end of the show, everyone comes on stage in their skimpiest attire ready to accept your crumpled bills anywhere you can find a place to stuff them. All money raised goes directly to the two charities.
